3. Set the Logs Channel with /config edit

Run /config edit in any channel.

Discord slash command picker showing /config edit: Edit ChatCop settings for this server

That is it. AntiScam is on by default. You can enjoy anti-scam protection in peace.

What Happens When a Scam Is Caught

Here is what your moderation team sees in the logs channel:

ChatCop moderation log showing a deleted message from 'Bad Scammer' containing four crypto casino scam images (fake withdrawal screens and a forged MrBeast Twitter post), with detection label 'AntiScam: Images' and action buttons for Timeout 10m, 1h, 6h, 1d, Kick, Ban, and Report False Positive

Each report includes the account, a preview of the deleted images, the AntiScam: Images detection label, and one-click buttons to timeout, kick, ban, or report a false positive.

Optional: Disabling AI Moderation

ChatCop also runs AI moderation for toxicity and other policy violations. If you only want scam and spam protection, disable it with:

/config aimod edit

Your AntiScam protection stays fully active regardless of this setting.

What Is the Discord Image Crypto Casino Scam?

If you moderate a Discord server, you have almost certainly seen them: four images posted in rapid succession, showing fake crypto casino withdrawal screens alongside a fabricated screenshot of MrBeast, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Kai Cenat, Andrew Tate, Sophie Rain, or another public figure supposedly endorsing the site. The message gets deleted, the account gets banned, and three days later a new wave starts.

These scams go by several names depending on the community calling them out: MrBeast scams, Discord crypto image spam, four-image scams, or Discord image casino spam. The format is always the same:

  • A newly created or compromised account joins your server.
  • They post a burst of four images (sometimes as attachments, sometimes as bare image URLs that Discord auto-embeds).
  • The images show a crypto gambling site UI, a fake “withdrawal success” confirmation, and a forged screenshot of a celebrity’s Twitter/X profile with a pinned post promoting the casino.
  • The goal is to trick young or inexperienced members into clicking through and depositing money.

The celebrity roster rotates constantly. MrBeast is the most common, but scammers also impersonate Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Kai Cenat, Andrew Tate, Sophie Rain, and dozens of others. The images are convincing enough that members who do not look closely can be fooled.

The scam is hard to catch with keyword filters because there is no text to block since the message is just images. That is exactly the attack surface ChatCop’s AntiScam engine is built for.

How ChatCop Detects and Deletes Discord Scam Images

ChatCop’s AntiScam: Images detection catches this exact pattern. When a scam is detected, the message is deleted immediately and a moderation report is posted to your logs channel.

It also handles text-based scams (fake giveaway templates, Telegram handle drops, phishing links) and optionally runs AI moderation for toxicity and other policy violations across 7 categories. Your moderators stay in control: ChatCop deletes the message and surfaces the case, but every escalation is a deliberate click.
